Q: Does a bride need to schedule an appointment? How do the bridal appointments work?

A: We are by appointment only to ensure there will be a fitting room and consultant available to help you try on gowns. However, if you happen to stop by without an appointment we will always try to accommodate you, but priority will be given to those with an appointment. We allot approximately one hour and a half per appointment. Please call (626) 799-2991 to arrange an appointment.

Q: What should I bring to an appointment?

A: We have strapless bras and bridal shoes for you to try on with the gowns. However, if you already have your shoes, bra or other accessories (jewelry) you can bring those with you to get a better idea of what you may look like as you walk down the aisle.


FAQ #3

Q: Should anyone accompany me to my appointment?

A: Usually brides want to bring some family member(s) or friend(s) to the appointment. We encourage you to have no more than 2 guests as it may become overwhelming. If you do wish to bring close relatives or friends, typically 1-2 is a nice accompaniment to share in the experience. However, we will always accommodate more guests to assist you in choosing your gown for your wedding day.

Q: What is the typical turn-around time and process from purchase to final product for a gown?

A: Once a dress is ordered, it usually takes 4-6 months to arrive in our boutique. Remember these gowns are not made until the order is placed. Once the gown arrives you should also allow 1-2 months for alterations; making the entire process 6 to 9 months long. This would be the ideal situation but we often do the process in less time. Many of our designers can do a “rush” on a gown.

Q: What is the average price of a gown at The Ivory Suite?

A: Our gowns range in price from around $1500 to $4000 with the average price of a gown being between $2000 and $3000.


FAQ #6

Q: In addition to wedding gowns, what other products do you sell? (i.e. bridesmaid dresses, shoes, jewelry, etc.)

A: We carry custom veils, handmade jewelry (exclusive to our boutique), hair accessories (pins, tiaras, bands, combs, crowns), sashes/belts, and bridesmaid or mother-of-the bride jewelry. If there is a particular accessory that we don't carry we will try to accommodate special requests.

Unfortunately at this time, we do not carry any bridesmaid dresses.


FAQ #7

Q: Can I take pictures of the gowns I try on?

A: We do ask that you please limit the amount of photos you take as our designers prefer that photographs are not taken before the gown is purchased. However, you are welcome to take as many photos of your gown once you have made your deposit.


FAQ #8

Q: Do you offer alterations?

A: We do offer alterations through our recommended alteration specialist who works independently from The Ivory Suite, however all fittings and consultations will take place at The Ivory Suite. You are not obligated to use our alteration specialist, and may take your gown elsewhere.
